Manage it Now! is an industry standards compliant software for the management of thin client devices. Based around HTTP and HTTPS protocols, Manage it Now! provides complete control of devices from grouping to cloning of settings to device re-imaging.

Connectivity & Networking

Manage it Now! has been designed with corporate, routed networks in mind. Manage it Now! operates using the latest in HTML technologies with no reliance on protocols such as FTP or UDP to perform any of its tasks. This approach enables Manage it Now! to perform in a completely independent and un-hindered manner, bypassing both router and firewall restrictions. This flexibility and performance mean that you can place Manage it Now! into most network topologies confident that it will operate flawlessly.

Groups and Grouped Configurations

Manage it Now! uses the concept of multi-level groups for organizing your thin clients. This allows you to have total control and provides a greater degree of flexibility. Groups within Manage it Now! can hold a universal configuration for all clients within the group. In addition to this, updates and firmware upgrades can be deployed to clients on a group basis. Sub-groups can also inherit properties from their parents or have their own independent property management.

Backup and Restore

Manage it Now! also provides you with the ability to back-up and restore its settings, preferences and database thereby providing you with the security of knowing that all client data is safe. This also negates the need to rescan the network in case of data loss on the Manage it Now! server.

Deployment & Scheduling

When managing thin clients and devices within any organization the most important and sought after feature is the ability to update the configuration and software within devices. The software deployment module within Manage it Now! allows administrators to configure updates for both settings and firmware, store them and deploy them to devices within the organization, whether on LAN or WAN at times that are convenient to both users and the company.

Platforms and Database

Manage it Now! is designed to be installed on any Windows or Linux Server platform and comes ready supplied with Tomcat Web Server and MySQL. Manage it Now! can be operated from any PC equipped with an Internet browser that supports Java.

Security

Manage it Now! is equipped with a user management system that allows you to specify the persons who can access Manage it Now! The user management setting also allows you to set permissions based on a granular level thereby providing not only the security but also the flexibility sought after.

Licensing

Manage it Now! is a licensed product. Each Xeratus thin client product is supplied with one MITN license. Support and updates are provided to customers subscribing to the Manage it Now! SLA.
